Magda Varouha was born in July 1990, just outside Athens. She grew up in Kapandriti and still lives there today. She studied at the Technical University of Athens and received a degree in marketing.
At the age of fifteen, she began vocal lessons, since her love in music was evident from a very young age.
In 2010, Alexandros Hatzis came her way, who would immediately set her apart, and thus began a wonderful collaboration and friendship that continues to this day. In the summer of 2012, she would find herself on the same stage with Kostas Hatzis in a series of concerts, and thus, for Magda, everything began. Music became her life and life, music.
She has appeared in many of the largest music scenes in Athens and in the province and has made special and very important collaborations on stage and not only, such as the one with Thanasis Papakonstantinou and Melina Kana where she performed the opening act of the evening. As well as with Matoula Zamani both at “Stavros tou Notou” and in her concert at “Veakeio”.
Magda Varouha is a complex performer and songwriter, with a rich creative vein, with a special timbre and elaborate vocal turns that she draws from traditional singing, giving her personal tone to everything she performs.
In 2025 she is back in the studio with Alexandros Hatzis to participate in the friendly song “Panta tha erchesai edo” which is included in his latest discography entitled “Se kapoia Poli”.
